In Angel's words
What we see on Waianae roofs
We do a lot of work here in Waianae, of course. It's home. The truck lives here, so a Leeward job is a short drive, and if you're near the coast you've probably seen the yellow poles on a roof already.
What we see on this side is salt and red dirt together. The salt hazes the glass from the ocean side, the red dirt blows down out of the valleys and settles along the bottom edge of the panels. Rain doesn't take either of them off; it bakes them on.
Same equipment as everywhere: water filtered in the truck, rotating brushes, a 5-point inspection and three videos. And if you're kupuna, military, police or a first responder, the discount is automatic.
