What changes town to town
- Leeward and central Red dirt. Kapolei, Ewa, Mililani, Wahiawa. It builds on the bottom edge of the panels and bakes in the sun.
- Windward Rain and black mold. Kaneohe and Kailua roofs stay damp under the Koolau.
- The coast Salt. Waianae, Ewa Beach, Hawaii Kai, the North Shore. It hazes the glass and won't rinse off in rain.
- Town side Older neighbourhoods, older systems, a second array added later. Seventy panels on one house isn't rare.
- Commercial zones Downtown, Waikiki, industrial Kapolei. Flat roofs and parking structures: the robot and the drone.
- The farms Ground-mount arrays out in the country. We bring our own water and do 2,000 panels in a day.
