What we see on Kaneohe roofs

Kaneohe is on Angel's list with Kailua and Hawaii Kai: the Windward side, across the H-3 from us. It's a different roof from the Leeward side. Where Kapolei gets red dirt, Kaneohe gets rain, and what grows on the glass is black mold and moss, often thickest on the shaded, mauka-facing rows.

Mold doesn't rinse off. It needs the rotating, water-fed brush, and then the filtered water so it dries with no spots. On the before video you'll see the green-black film; on the after you'll see glass.

Roofs on this side hold water too. A white latex roof with moss on it can be too slippery to walk, and we'll tell you if it needs a wash before anyone goes up for the panels.
